C Fruit Life Pt II: Amazing Milk Foam Tea

Last time my friend and I went for their seemingly scary durian and mango pizza. This time, I decided to go for another star product of theirs-milk foam tea...with cheese or durian on top.

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Can they just make something normal?".

Well. You can't stop them from using unusual combination in their drinks or desserts.

Here is the front of their tea menu. The design of it is the same with the dessert menu. There is a line of the menu specifically addresses that their products use real tea, milk, cheese, fruit, and cream. That reminds me of unpleasant experience in TBarr which claims all their products are fresh.

The options you can choose do not limit to milk foam tea. They also offer mix tea, fruit tea, and pure tea. No matter what type of tea you choose you could still either choose durian or cheese to have in your tea. One thing that they don't suggest customers to do is to add any bubble tea toppings (such as tapioca pearls) in their milk foam tea. So I ordered a Milk Foam Black Oolong tea with Cheese.

The presentation of my drink is very visually appealing (and cute) as the coca powder on top are presented in a C-shaped form. It looks very different from the milk foam tea that I had at Gong Cha. It does not look like your traditional bubble tea anymore. And the milk foam and cheese layer is really thick.

(Because I was in a hurry to finish my assignment, I decided to try my drink at my apartment.)

By the time I took out my drink again, my milk foam tea had been a little bit disfigured. I was sure that its appearance would not affect how it tastes.

The lid was a little bit hard to open. I tried 5 times to open it.

The milk foam added with cheese was very dense. You could see that the foam sticks to my straw.

With my first sip, I could not really taste the cheese. I could still taste the fragrance of the oolong as the tea not fully mixed with the Oolong. But after some stirring, I started to taste the saltiness from the cheese. The cheese was not very salty, but it was enough to make you realize that it was cheese.

To be honest, I did not know how I feel about the drink with the first couple of sips. To me, it had this weird taste that is hard to be described. But with more sips, I suddenly can relate its taste with one of the most famous desserts of the world. That is: Tiramisu! It is a drink version of tiramisu. Case closed.

The drink is truly magical because the more sipping and stirring you have with the drink the more sweetness it has. The end result of my endless sipping and stirring was that is had become a drink that had the exact taste of tiramisu.

To sum up, their milk foam tea is really creamy and smooth. The saltiness of the cheese goes well together with both the foam and the tea. The baby of the three ingredients turned out to be tiramisu. Seriously, you need to go there and verify that yourself.
